Lets break this out to its simplest form. I've got a SGH-T889, am running Android 4.3. I've got seemingly redundant symbolic links all pointing into my SD. The end result is my music app (both Apollo and doubleTwist) all are reporting 3-4 copies of the same songs (while I know its simply scanning the symlinks as their own directory instead of following them). I have user profiles disabled in settings, and have no desire to use the multiuser bit. Which symbolic links would I be safe in deleting in order to make the media players work like I'm used to without breaking the OS itself?
Here's the links:
/sdcard -> /storage/emulated/legacy
/storage/sdcard0 -> /storage/emulated/legacy
And seemingly /storage/emulated/0 and /storage/emulated/legacy are two different directories (not symlinks), but both contain my internal SD contents.
127|:/storage/emulated # ls -l drwxrwxr-x root sdcard_rw 2013-10-16 20:34 0 drwxrwxr-x root sdcard_rw 2013-10-16 20:34 legacy :/storage/emulated #
130|:/storage/emulated # du -s * 17421912 0 17421912 legacy :/storage/emulated #
So, yeah. How do I go about killing this multiuser looped link mess?
