i just bought a "Dragon Touch M7" from ebay. It uses a Mediatek MT8127 chipset. It comes with KitKat. The manufacturer's website (tabletsexpress.com) has the download links for FIRMWARE file for 5.0 Lollipop and the SP Flash tool for it. I downloaded the 5.0 firmware and flash tool.. however, I cant get into download mode on the tablet because the tablet doesnt have any buttons. no home button no volume buttons. I tried "adb reboot download" command but it just reboots the tablet. When I type in reboot recovery I can get into some stock recovery mode but i cant move up and down because my tablet has no volume buttons. All i can do is hold down power and turn it off. Pressing the power button hides the choices of "Reboot now; install from sdcard; install from" .. etc... is recovery mode the same thing as download mode?? if so, nothing happens when i try to flash the firmware.
I have rooted and flashed custom ROMs with samsung galaxys in the past so I do have some experince with this kind of stuff.
