how to unbrick Huawei Mate with wrong rebranding and changed bootloader code

I used the wrong firmware (for Mate 9) when rebranding my Huawei Mate Pro 10 using the dload method. Rebranding has locked the bootloader. I can get into fastboot mode but I cannot unlock the bootloader because the bootloader code has changed: fastboot oem get-product-model yields MHA-L29 (it should be BLA-L29), and the IMEI corresponds to Mate 9. Huawei erecovery fails (cannot get package info), and I cannot flash because of the locked bootloader.
How can I get the right firmware onto my device again?
